Know how each horse has been standing since your last visit.
HorseWise watches every horse in the stall, around the clock. Before you pick up a foot, you can see where the horse is in their shoe cycle, how they’ve been standing on each leg, and how much work they’ve done since you last reset them.
It’s free for you. The barn or the owner pays.

The history you usually get
You see a horse every five to eight weeks. In between, you hear about it secondhand, if at all: “she’s been a little off,” “I think he’s resting that hind.” HorseWise fills in the weeks you weren’t there.
How you get access
The owner or the barn invites you to the horses you work on. Open a horse’s report from a link by text or email, or in the HorseWise app. No app is required.
The farrier report
Shoe cycle and next visit
When the horse was last done, what was done, and when they’re due.
How they stand
How the horse carries their weight on each leg, measured from the stall cameras while they’re standing. If they start resting one foot more than usual, or shifting off a leg, it shows up next to their own normal.
Work since the reset
If the owner or rider connects a ride tracker, the report shows the horse's rides since your last visit: how many, how long, and how balanced their canter leads have been.
Your notes follow the horse
Notes you leave stay with the horse and are there at the next shoeing, along with notes from the owner, the rider and the barn.
Your visit is logged
When the owner or barn logs your visit, that day is labeled on the horse's charts, so a horse who’s a little different the day after a trim or reset doesn’t throw off their normal.

Recommend a barn
Know a barn that should have this? Tell us which barns you work with. We’ll reach out, mention you, and set you up with reports for your clients’ horses.
Questions farriers ask
Does it cost me anything?
No. The barn or the owner pays.
Who invites me?
The horse’s owner or the barn.
Do I need to install an app?
No. A link by text or email opens the horse’s report. If you’d rather use the app, your horses are there too.
What can I see?
The report, the clips and the video for every horse you’re invited to.
Does HorseWise diagnose lameness?
No. It shows how the horse has been standing and moving compared to their own normal. What that means is your call.
